- Power off machine.
- Hold down + first and then POWER for about 10 seconds, release both buttons once Kurio screen loads .
- When you get the open Android picture, press + to enter menu, use - to move down to "wipe data / factory reset" and press POWER again to choose.
- Next press - to choose "YES" and press POWER to start reset.
- Check for yellow text Formatting /data, formatting cache, Data wipe complete.

It is also possible to reset only the Kurio Interface: Go to Parental area > Tablet Setup> Press "Reset the Interface to Factory Default Settings".
Once this has been done you will need to set the device up and perform all the updates, instructions for this are on this page.

How do I reset my digital2 8" tablet

Depends on the model number.
I found this.

" Click "Settings" ? "Backup & Reset" ? "Factory data reset" to clear all user setting and recover the system to the default status.
Please kindly be noted that some models (like D2-711) may require extra step as to select reboot system now.
(Note: All installed applications and user personal data will be erased (emails, contacts...etc.). Data saved in the internal storage like photos, music files and others will not be erased.) Make sure to back up all your files first."

my tablet wont pass the prestige elite screen, what do I do?

Try this, hold down the power button, and the
Volume down buttons at the same time. Keep holding
Until you see a 3d android, lying on it's side.
Then use the volume down button, scroll down to either,
system reboot. Or factory reset ( if you have an SD card in, take it out first)
The reboot will just reboot your tablet, and it should
Turn on and fix the problem.
the factory reset, will erase everything in the system.
If it ran alight before, and you had stuff saved to the
Tablet, it will erase it also. I'm sorry but it can't be saved.
so make sure your SD card is not in.it will erase it too.
The factory reset will restore the tablets settings, and reboot. But only do this as a last resort. Hope this helps

How to reset Pandigital 7 in. Planet Tablet to factory settings?

There are two ways to do it. You can either update the firmware and it will erase everything for you, or you can do a factory reset, and return to factory settings. Go to Settings, PDN settings (not the Android settings menu) and scroll right to the Reset Defaults location. Tap on the reset button and you will be taken back to factory default settings. It might take a while to reload, but after everything it will be back to factory defaults from when you first bought it. Updating the firmware might be your best option if you care to resell it, because it may cause less issues for the next person and less chance of any returns.
