how do u turn off the apps when your not useing them

The Sprint Evo is an Android smartphone capable of running applications in the background. It's best to close applications you aren't using, since running applications drains the phone's battery. Most apps allow you to close them through the menu inside the application, but if the app stops responding or has no close option, you can use the Force Stop function. Force Stop functions much like the Task Manager feature in Windows. It closes the app, but does not delete data or uninstall the app.

1. Press the "Menu" button from the main screen on the Evo.

2. Tap "Settings" and touch "Applications."

3. Select "Manage applications" and open the "Running" tab.

4. Locate the application you want to close and tap it.

5. Touch the "Force Stop" button to close the app.

I hope you find it very helpful. Thank you for using fixya.

memory full while i'm browsing

before this happens open task manager (press ctrl alt delete simultaneously).
under performance tab see cpu usage and memory.
cpu usage should be about 2% normally.
memory should not be full.

if cpu usage seems high then a virus is trying this act or you have unwanted programs which you my end from startup.

second case is of some problem in ram

runs very very slow

Do you have any applications running that are consuming resources?
Can you please go to "Task Manager" and then performance and see if your CPU or Memory usage is high, if so please close the application(s) that is using it.
Also make sure you dont have lots of applications starting when windows starts.
How much memory do you have installed?
