Tip & How-To about Apple iPhone Smartphone
Jailbreaking iOS 8
To jailbreak your iOS 8 or 8.1 device, all you'll need is the device, a compatible USB cable (the one you use to charge the device), and any computer running Windows with iTunes installed. Please note that before you jailbreak your device, it is highly recommended that you backup first! It rarely ever happens, but there is always a chance that jailbreaking can fail and cause an issue on your device. It is also worth mentioning that jailbreaking voids the device warranty with Apple.
If you understand the risks and wish to proceed, head on over to this website here:
PanGu iOS 8 jailbreak
When you get to the site, click on the big download button to begin downloading the program. Once it is finished downloading, find the file on your computer. Right click on the file and select "Run as Administrator," then click "Yes."
Before proceeding, make sure Find my iPhone and you lockscreen passcode are completely disabled and turned off!
Once the program launches and appears to recognize your device, uncheck the box, and click the big blue button to begin the jailbreak process. Be patient until the blue progress bar reaches all the way to the end. Once finished, go to your iDevice and launch the new Pangu icon on your homescreen. From there you can proceed to install Cydia. Once Cydia is installed, you are all set! Launch Cydia once to allow it to set up, and then you're good to go. Happy jailbreaking!
