Tip & How-To about Apple iPhone Cell Phones

Iphone/Ipods and Jailbreaks

So a lot of persons jailbreak there devices, and i must say its an awesome experience to have no limits on these phones that comes with so many limitations. But my advice is this, never jailbreak your device while its still under warranty and also never do a tethered jailbreak, a tethered jailbreak is when you have to connect the phone to the PC to get Cidia working again every time the phone is shut off, with an un-tethered jailbreak you just have to do it once. Wondering why i say not to do an tethered jailbreak? Well take this information and scenario into account. Most times when you jailbreak and then revert to normal some apps don't work these might include but are not limited to; Mail, Game Center, Itunes, Facetime among others, so you would have to jailbreak for them to work again. What will you do if for some reason after your phone goes off and you turn it back on and go to your PC to get it jailbroken again and your charge port/tether port doesn't work, you will be unable to use those apps until your able to connect to the pc..... Have fun with your phones and as always thanks for making it Fixya.

How do you jailbreak your phone or any other mobile device? P.S what is jail breaking?

Jailbreaking is well simply let me put it this way. Jailbreaking is removing the limitations put forth by Apple on stock iOS by exploiting bugs in the kernel to allow root access for thrid party applications from other sources besides AppStore to run your primary source would be cydia. Now in simpler terms jailbreaking is the freedom of control fro you device by allowing you to install third party applications that Apple have banned from their appstore or not necessarily banned but people have not tried submitting.

ok.... I think that might be simple enough! Now to the actual jailbreak tools, A jailbreak like I said depends on kernel level exploits so with each new iOS version Apples sometimes pathes those exploits and closes the jailbreak for that iOS until a developer comes along and builds a new tool or improves on a previous one for the new iOS, the latest iOS is currently unjailbroken the latest jailbreakable iOS is 8.1.3 I do believe but to find if your iOS is supported browse to the most common jailbreak tools available for jailbreaking and they will tell you if your iOS is supported.

Most popular ones include but not limited to: Evasi0n, Pangu, and Redsn0w! Goodluck :)

Jailbreak at your own risk and remember the action of jailbreaking 1) will void your warranty if Apple finds out, 2) is not illegal illegal** what you do with the jailbreak can make it ******* such as pirating!

Be safe and do not break any laws!

Legal Claim***

I am not responsible for what happens after you jailbreak and you should only jailbreak if you know what you are doing, I will and can not be held responsible for any possible future legal troubles or device troubles that come up!
