wick problems

Turn the bowl upside down and use a match or much better, a cigarette lighter to melt the wax directly below (normally above) the black wick, moving the flame it back and forward. Watch out for hot wax dripping onto your skin!
Then turn the bown over and use a butter knife to scrape the wax above the wick away and remove the wax above and on either side of the wick. You may have to do this operation a few times, but eventually you should be able to gently get the knife under the buried wick and (gently!) prise it back into an upright position.
Don't do this roughly, or you could snap the wick off at its base, it needs to be pretty much out of the wax and softened by the flame before you try to bend it back up.

Then light the cantle and let it burn for ten minutes, until the wax all around it is clear liquid - then blow it out, and after ensuring that the wick tip is no longer glowing, quickly crush a few absorbent paper towels into the bowl and upturn it again. The aim is to allow the towel to absorb excess molten wax, which should preven the wick from being buried under wax again when the candle cools.

melted crayon all over my car upholstery

To remove melted crayon from upholstery:
1. Scrape away melted wax from the upholstery as much as you can using a blunt knife. 2. Put a brown paper, or butcher paper (glossy side down) on top of the affected area then using the tip of a hot flat iron, melt the crayon until it stick to the paper. 3. Let the paper cool then lift it away gently from the upholstery. 4. Dab a small amount of denatured alcohol to remove any remaining stains then finally clean the affected area with sponge and water.
Hope this help. Goodluck!

How do I remove crayon wax that melted in the sun onto my wrought iron deck table

There are a few methods. You can take ice cubes and place them on the crayon wax until it freezes. It can then be easily removed. You can also place a paper towel on the wax and use an Iron to heat the wax until it melts. The paper towel will absorb the wax. Then use a dryer sheet to remove anything left over.

Water dispenser works, ice maker makes ice but doe not dispense

Remove the ice bucket/container from inside the freezer compartment. Examine underneath at the front of the container to see if ice cubes are lodged between the metal blades. If cubes are caught in this area, they will prevent ice from dropping into the glass/cup.

Help getting crayon out of dryer.

If they are globs you can freeze them by rubbing with an ice cube and scrape them off. If the residue is thin like a coat of paint use denatured alcohol or paint thinner to rub them off. Make sure you leave the dryer door open several hours after using solvent inside to air it out. Do not use the dryer immediately after using solvent or there could be a fire hazard.
If the crayon residue is on the clothes, you can put piece of absorbent paper (like a paper grocery bag) over the stain and iron it. The heat will melt the crayon wax and the paper will absorb it. You may have to do it several times to get it all out. Denatured alcohol or paint thinner might be needed to get the final stain out.
