Ps3 guide

is there a way to open up a PS3 to try and get rid of some of the dust. mine wont play DVDs, Blu-ray or any games anymore. it just froze one time in the middle of fallout3 and when i restarted it the game wouldnt show up on the menu. some of the other sites recommended trying to get rid of the dust. this is my last hope before i give up and try to get another one, which i would really rather not do

For your Hard drvie go to your local computer shop and have them reformat it. Or if you have a SATA Motherboard u can just get a sata cord and hook the ps3 hdd to the sata cord and power cord from the Powersupply on your Computer. To reformat it your self go to my computer and right click and hit format. It will format you HDD.

For your video Make sure you have your tv on the right AUX. Us the AUX multi cord from a ps2 and hold the power button for 2-5 seconds u will hear 3 beeps. 1 is for the system turn on and 2 is the reset of your video and 3 is for a reset for the config. then it will shut off and go into stand by mode. ( RED LIGHT ) wait about 2-10 seconds before powering. Your system will come to a screen for a system update or just boot up normal.

ps3 will connect online to bt homehub via erthnet cable but when it comes to wireless it will not connect and times out on playstation network on network settings
