Allergies affect millions of people yearly. There are many anti histamine medications and sprays that can help, but you can also get mother nature involved by choosing foods that are helpful in preventing allergies.

Climate change is not only causing problems for the environment but is also causing a spike in the number of people suffering from allergies.
Allergies are worse in the spring and we are seeing long and earlier spring seasons, not to mention increased carbon dioxide pollution.

Here are some good anti allergy foods that you could try adding in to your diet during the allergy season.
1. Citrus fruits and any other vitamin C packed foods.
2.Turmeric - which you can add to all your savory cooking.
3. Parsley
4. Kale
5. Broccoli
6. Fish - it's been shown that omega 3 fatty acids lower the risk of developing allergies.

Avoid alchohol and spicy foods as these aggravate the nasal passages.

can I give my Jack Russel benadyl for scratching

Benadryl 25mg tabs or caps are a good anti histamine to help itching in dogs most likely caused by some allergy. My own dog is 25lbs and almost daily has one or two Benadryl 25mg doses for itching and it does help her discomfort with no side effects. Most common side effect is drowsiness and lethargy. As always seek advice of your Vet before giving an animal any medications.

Itchy palms and soles of feet. sweating then chills. ear canal itching

It sounds to me like you are having an allergic reaction. Have you taken any new medication or other products? Have you used any new cleaning or soap products or insecticide sprays? I suggest you contact a doctor or allergist. In the meantime, Benedryl or other anti-histamine may help. Sweating and chills could also be a result of an illness.

I have bad allergies and I think it's making me snore. My wife is getting so cross with me. Any suggestions?

Allergies can really cause congestion which then leads to snoring as blocked airways cause vibrations of throat tissue and that's what makes the snoring noise.

Trying using anti congest ants and / or nasal sprays for a few days. But you shouldn't use these medications for long as sometimes they can actually make the problem worse, so make sure you follow your doctor's instructions.
