How to Make the Perfect Omelette

Omelettes are a really simple and easy
egg dish, loved by adults and kids alike. They make a great breakfast or a
light lunch or supper with salad. And yet it’s not as easy as it seems to make
the perfect omelette!

Follow these tips below and you can
ensure that you make a great omelette every time.

Ingredients:
2 large eggs
Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
Small knob of butter
Optional: grated cheddar cheese

Method:
Break your eggs into a small mixing bowl
and add a pinch of salt and pepper

Beat well with a fork
Heat your frying pan (use a small one)
and add a knob of butter.

Once the butter has melted, pour in the
eggs making sure the mixture has spread evenly around the pan.

If you’re using cheese, add it to the
center once the egg has begun cooking but is still a bit raw.

Use a spatula to lift the edges from the
frying pan and fold in half or flip over, depending on how you like your
omelette.

Eat it hot and fresh – delicious!!

Good option for breakfast

Life Cereal is a great choice if you're looking for a nutritional cereal! But keep in mind, its not just the cereal that dictates whether the meal will be healthy; be sure to pick a healthy milk (2% and skim are good choices)!

When kids are doing pretend play, should we as adults join in with them or leave them alone?

: I think it's a great question and the answer is to find a balance. Too much adult involvement takes away creativity from the kids and prevents them from problem solving and taking initiative. Also if you play too much with your kids in these situations, they lose confidence to play by themselves and can end up thinking that they only enjoy play when an adult is around.

Having said all that - kids just love it when adults come down to their level, in all senses and get involved. So popping in to your child's 'toy shop' to buy something or coming to their restaurant and ordering from their menu, will be great fun for them and you.

Asking Excel to insert a drop down list based on previously entered text

Yes...no....yes....and yes. And if that sounds like a funny response let me explain. First of all you can write a formula for a specific cell (or cells or interrelated cells where you menus would display). It takes a while and if you are new to the syntax it could take a couple hours even (let's assume you are not a math major). Using Access, for something this apparently simple, I would not suggest (another learning curve but admittedly a reasonably easy one). But, this is the second yes, the easiest way to do this would be to simply insert a "comment". When you hold the cursor over the cell...your data...i.e. menu...will pop up. And yes...(last yes) you could have Sunday thru Monday across the top and Breakfast, lunch and dinner in the right hand column. Now this assumes what you have said is what your are trying to do...effectively meal planning...and you are not trying to plug in the inventory in the fridge to develop a shopping list.

Lastly...yes I could write the formula....but not knowing what you do (and figuring if you are going to use Excel at all you really do need to learn how to do it) I would be wasting a bit of time. Hope this helps...Tango.
