How to Find Premium Problems on FixYa

Once you have become a Premium Expert, by answering 30 free questions within 30 days and having at least a 70% rating, Premium Problems will appear at the top of your My Expertise page. You can identify Premium Problems on that page by their buttons, which will be marked with either $4 or $6. Here is an example of a My Expertise page with Premiums:



If you currently qualified as a Premium Expert, yet there are no Premiums at the top of your My Expertise page, that is because all available Premiums are currently being answered by other Experts. Refreshing your My Expertise page often will increase your chances of catching a Premium as it becomes available.

Once you decide to answer a Premium, you'll have 30 minutes to compose your solution. The Premium is "Locked" to you and no other Expert may respond unless the customer rejects your assistance, so take your time to compose the best possible solution. Remember to only answer Premiums where you can provide truly helpful advice. Posting poor quality solutions will damage your reputation and the good standing of your account with FixYa.

After you have posted your solution, make sure to monitor your Recent Comments page (found on the right of your My Expertise page under "Expert Tools") for any further questions the customer has. You must respond to any question or comment the customer posts within 4 hours, or the problem will be re-posted for another Expert to respond to.
