Best way to fix a Sharp machine

Best way of fixing a sharp machine no matter how small the problem because its sometimes only a symptom than a cause

is contact a technician, because the longer you take the more damage you cause, the more expensive the repairs, and a good chance you don`t end up with an expensive paper weight

What component parts are likeliest to fix a no-turn-on symptom in my Sharp TV?

Fault with the main power supply regulator board. Check and replace damaged component/s at its main power regulator [SMPS] section circuit. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts.

It will be best to replace the power supply regulator board as card basis rather than making "Surgery" to it; which usually will make loss for both money and time.

I have a sharp acquos 42 inch lcd tv, which has worked flawlessly for about two years but, is now starting to show vertical lines that are green and sometimes they turn kind of red. They seem to appear sometimes longer than others. What can i do?

The way the symptom was explained, the problem is with the LCD panel itself. Lines on screen are cause by some factors such as tft's or the control flexible contact that attached to the panel might become loose overtime, the flexible can be repaired but not at service station level. You will need to visit authorized sharp service station to have a look and get concrete diagnosis. they can decide whether the lines are repairable or not.

Sharp AR-M207 with a F9-00 message

f9-00 means the ar-nb3 and or eb9 print control boards failed to recive all packets involved in a perticular print job. weither its 1 page or 100 pdf tiff raw etc does not matter.
as a printer service technician i can ashure you there is no known all inclusive fix at this time. cycling the machine's power will clear the code.

cc tech

Sorry for the delay in responding. But, yes, it was a simple matter of some screws. The technician took my TV down from the wall, opened up the back, removed and set aside some parts, and then replaced the screws in question. Since then, the TV has been working just fine. The tech said there was a bulletin put out by Sharp on this (apparently it's a common problem). I don't have the work order on me right now, but I can come back later tonight and post the specific part name and location of the screws (and order number for the screws.)

My suggestion is to check the relay in the back of the machine,
I used to get that code with a toshiba, In the back to the right there is a relay with a switch, sometimes it would pop the switch.
Another thing that caused that was a small transformer.

Not sure if sharp is the same.
good Luck
