877 router factory reset woes

Question:
We've recently changed C2951-VSEC data line providers and now have some Cisco 877 routers we'd like to reconfigure and use at other sites. Although we own these, they were configured by our old data line providers, I'm having a hard time of resetting them to factory defaults and am after some advice.
The simple, hold down the reset button until it restarts does not work.
If I press the reset button within 5 seconds of power up to load the default rom image, I get the below:
System Bootstrap, Version 12.3(8r)YI4, RELEASE SOFTWARE

C870 series (Board ID: 1-148) platform with 131072 Kbytes of main memory
Booting flash:c870-advipservicesk9-mz.124-24.T.bin
Error opening: flash:c870-advipservicesk9-mz.124-24.T.bin

Self decompressing the image : ############################################################################## [OK]
I assume from this the required bin has either been removed, renamed or overwritten.
As soon as the router boots it requires a password and I dont have the password to be able ftp files in and out of it.
Hope you guys can help.

I lost the installation CD for my Cisco DPQ3212 router and need a link for the drivers.

Go to http://www.cisco.com/web/consumer/support/modem_DPQ3212.html#~drivers & select the one that best describes the model that you have &/or the operating system (such as Windows XP/Vista, etc.).

reinstalling cisco m20 0n vista

Is it re-installation of complete network or you are just trying to add Vista computer to the network?

Is it a complete re-installation then you can reset the router to factory default settings and then try to reconfigure it.

You can run Cisco connect software on the main computer or you can also reinstall it manually,

Read how to reconfigure router manually,

If you trying to connect Wireless Vista computer to the network then you can simply search for the WiFi and then join the wireless network on Windows Vista computer

Help!!!!!!!!!!!

Leave the user name blank and enter the password admin ( admin once only ).

Try this.
If that doesn't work then search for the Cisco connect software on your main computer. You might have installed the cisco connect software on your main computer while installing your router.
If it is windows computer then cisco connect software might be under All Programs.
If is a MAC computer then cisco connect might be under Applications.

Open cisco connect software.
Click on router settings. You will see the router name and password. If you click on Advanced settings, it will open the setup page.

If nothing is working then you will need to reset the router and reconfigure it.
Remember once you reset the router, you will need to reconfigure it from the scratch.

my girlfriend put in the pin number of my wireless into her PC and it renamed my wireless network and I can not longer secure my wireless network. I have a Mac and I do not know how to reconfigure it to make my network secure again.

On her PC, connect again to your router.
Click Start
Click Run
Type CMD
Press ENTER
Type IPCONFIG
Press ENTER
Look for output like: Default Gateway ... 192.168.123.456
(Your numbers may vary!)
Start Internet Explorer
Type http://192.168.123.456
Login to the CISCO router's web-interface.
Click "Restore Factory Defaults".
The router will restart itself, and you will need to reconfigure it.
