Tip & How-To about Philips 60PP9363 60" Rear Projection HDTV-Ready Television

Need parts? I have all but the convergence on the red lens.

I am tired of trying to figure out what is wrong with this tv so I am parting it out. Anything you want from my set I will sell. The only part that does not work is the convergence circuit on the red side. The screen and lenses are in great shape. I am just trying to raise money for a new car at this point.

where to find

Harbor Frieght sells wheel barrel tires that can be made to fit and they're cheap. You may have to put bushings in the new tires as they may be a little bigger (depending on the tire you buy) than the axle on the Kett car. Otherwise I'd say try the manufacturer.

I'm trying to figure out what's wrong with my car. The engine revs up and down and uses excessive fuel

Replacing your idle air control motor will more than likely fix your idle problem. If not, you may have a vacuum leak. As for poor fuel mileage, there are many things that affect that: tire pressure, driving habits, worn ignition parts, use of A/C, poor vehicle alignment, etc.

I GOT A MODEL WITH NO TIRES AND HAD ALREADY PUT IT TOGETHER

There are a few sites that sell tires. I Googled "parts for model cars" and found this:

For 1/24 -- 1/25 Scale Tires with wheels

Also 1/24 -- 1/25 Scale Tires only

This site has mostly 1/24 -- 1/25 Scale, but there is one set of tires with wheels for 1/18 Scale.

In case you would ever want to build your own parts or add detail to your model(s) I found an article that might help you out.

Good luck!

cracked tv screen /picture will not show

I have tried to look up parts prices for various TV's to try and estimate costs for repairs and they will not sell anything to consumers or even let me look up the parts. You have to be an authorized repair center just to log in.You will have to call a local repair shop, describe the situation, and they should be able to give you a ballpark figure over the phone.I know from repairing various electronics that there is usually at least a 20% markup on parts but that should be included in the estimate they give. Also, here is a link for comparing plasma vs. HD.Good luck!
