Troubleshoot - SOFTWARE RESET STEPS

IF ITS A PERSONAL PHONE CALL YOUR PHONE SERVICE PROVIDER ask if there is any special version of software you have to use.

try a hard reset (take the battery out wait 2 mins then put it back in) if that doesnt work...

BEFORE ANYTHING !!!! use the desktop software to backup your data (because you will be erasing ALL DATE on the device) on the BB (if you can) and save the file to the desktop. next go to https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads/entry.do?code=577BCC914F9E55D5E4E4F82F9F00E7D4 you need to download (use pull down menu) blackberry desktop software 4.6 and the blackberry device software (FOR YOUR MODEL PHONE) install the desktop software first then the device software.. this can take maybe an hour (not including the download time) once your done use your desktop software to restore your data
