Tip & How-To about Whirlpool Duet GHW9150P Front Load Washer

Whirlpool Duet Washer Repair Manual & Parts Links

Hello ... I found these links at http://www.applianceguru.com/forum2/7735.html while searching for the solution to my problem and figure they will help for a lot of you!

This link is for the Duet Washer Repair Manual in .pdf format https://secured.whirlpool.com/Service/SrvTechAdm.nsf/2cd44500d572193285256a45004fd9d6/eab852a13fbc842085256aa200643dd6?OpenDocument
Lots of good info ... including how to check the relays.

They also included this link as a source for parts (this one is for the door latch assembly) http://www.repairclinic.com/SSPartDetail.aspx?PartID=1094190&PPStack=1

Many thanks to the guru! Just passing on his information.

Unpgug the machine for 1 minute and then power back up. If fault reoccurrs check all connectors.

How long have you had this machine? Has it always been plugged into the same outlet? Is is sharing an outlets with another device?

Your unit may still be under warranty- the following blog has the warranty lengths (in years):

Here is a general ice-making troubleshooting guide that may help you:

Here's what a tech on applianceguru.com says about the vacuum condenser problem:

The vaccuum condensor light just means one or more compressor in the unit has excessive run time, you need to have this unit checked, your compressor(s) are running too long for some reason so might be a sealed systen problem developing.

Get appliance parts at http://parts.fixitnow.com Since you have a sealed system, a tech will have to come check it out and troubleshoot it. Hope it's still in warranty, and good luck.

Wow - I can't believe it. I had the SAME problem and searched the internet. This was the first site I found and was initially discouraged since there was NO solution, but upon further searching, I found the answer. I'll post the site here http://applianceguru.com/forum2/14805.html and you can just hop on and find out the answer in a much more helpfully worded way than I could ever do it!
I found a girls bobby pin and a rubber band stopping my drain from functioning! I thought it would FOR SURE be legos, but those boys are off the hook!
