I'm trying to use my Sharp AR-M355N as a scanner for the first time. I've already made sure it's properly hooked up to the network and have successfully printed to it. I scanned a test page, put in the e-mail address I want to send it to, and upon hitting send it says "NETWORK ERROR. (CE-02) CONSULT YOUR KEY OPERATOR OR SYSTEM ADMIN." I'm afraid I'm a bit lost now...

Hi,
When scanning to e-mail you would need to enter the details of a smtp server e.g. Gmail, as well as your DNS settings into the photocopier via the web browser. To access the browser, enter the I.P. address of the copier into the web address & this will give you the front page of the copier. To access the network settings you'll need the user name : admin & the password Sharp. Depending on the firmware version the machine must have SSL installed, if it hasn't then unfortunately you will not be able to scan to e-mail. The alternative is to scan to SMB (folder), again this is set up via the web browser.
Hope this helps.
Dave.

Motorola Droid Downloads can be accessed via the Motorola Support Website
Alternatively, you may enter the following in your web browser of choice :

http://www.motorola.com/Support/US-EN/Consumer-Support/Mobile-Phones/Droid+-+USA_Default+US_Loc%253AUS-EN

From this page you will find this and additional downloads available for the Droid as well as other Motorola products. If you are in a hurry, here is the direct link to the Droid User Guide (Adobe Acrobat, or "PDF" format)

The router was reset. So, our AP does not work with it anymore. I reset the AP to restore it to its factory default settings and tried to follow the steps I made before in configuring the AP. but i can't access http://192.168.1.1 so I could not log in to the AP's page where you configure the settings. I remember the last time I configured it, we have entered the mac address of the AP to the main computer unit. But this time I haven't entered it since the main unit is currently unavailable. Is that the reason why I can't access 192.168.1.1? the brand of the AP is encore enrxwi-g. I hope you can help me in here. thanks a lot.

Before you configure this device, note that when the AP is configured through an Ethernet connection, (via RJ45 Network Cable) make sure the manager PC must be set on same the IP network. For example, when the default network address of the default IP address of the AP is 192.168.1.1, then the manager PC should be set at 192.168.1.x (where x is a number between 2 and 254), and the default subnet mask is 255.255.255.0.
Open Internet Explorer 5.0 or above Web browser.
Enter IP address http://192.168.1.1 (the factory-default IP address setting) to the address location. Please refer here to the Latest User Manual for Encore ENRWI-G Page 9 onwards describes the login details.

Hope this Helps!
