Dish soap in your dishwasher?

Don't use regular dish soap in your dishwasher; It was cause it to fill up with A LOT of foam.
If you've accidentally done it, don't worry: First drain as much as you can. You can use salt to dissolve it. Then just run the machine with some cooking oil or vinegar. It will get rid of the mess.

I always use a small amount of dish soap in mine.
Too much will cause an overflow with foam,
but a small amount works wonders.

You can also put in a tablespoon of fabric softner. It clears the suds quickly.
