Tip & How-To about Exercise & Fitness
1. Putting together a gym in your house can be very beneficial. Basically, when you haveall the equipment at your house, you can workout whenever you want (if you'rehome), you don't have to worry about lines that are common in the commercialgyms, and you can avoid the common distractions at gyms.Another benefit is that you choose what weight training equipment to have inyour home gym so everything you pay for, you actually use. In addition, homegyms might be expensive when you put them together (generally $2000-$3000), butthey will last for many years. Main drawback of home gyms is that you need alarge area for all the equipment (ie. Treadmill, bench, racks, barbells anddumbbells, etc.). Another drawback is that you will most likely be trainingalone, which means nobody will spot you on heavy exercises like squat and benchpress, which can be dangerous. Last drawback is that many people prefer toworkout around other people or with training partners in order to have moremotivation. Working out alone at your home can be tough if you don't havestrong discipline.
