How to set up an e-mail account from the device using the Set up E-mail link - T-Mobile Dash™ WM 6.0

To set up an e-mail account on your device, follow these steps:
  1. From the Home screen, scroll to and select Set Up E-mail.
    • NOTE: If you have hidden the Set Up E-mail link on the Home screen, select Start, Set Up E-mail. To restore the Set Up E-mail link on the Home screen, select Start, Accessories, Restore Set Up E-mail Plugin.
  2. Select one of the following:
    • AOL | AIM Mail: To set up your device to receive e-mail from your AOL® / AIM® account.
      1. Read the Terms of Use.
      2. Select Accept.
      3. Type your screen name and password.
        • NOTE: To scroll between the screen name and password fields, press the Navigation key left or right, not up or down.
      4. Select Next.
      5. Select Finish.
    • Windows Live: To set up your device to receive e-mail from your Windows Live™, Hotmail®, or MSN® e-mail account.
      1. Select Sign in to Windows Live.
      2. Read the Terms of Use.
      3. Select Accept.
      4. Type your e-mail address and password.
        • NOTE: To scroll between the username and password fields, press the Navigation key left or right, not up or down.
      5. Select Next.
      6. Select the Windows Live services to display on the Home screen.
      7. Select Next.
      8. Select what you want to synchronize.
      9. Select Next.
      10. When synchronization is complete, select Done.
    • Yahoo! Mail: To set up your device to receive e-mail from your Yahoo!® Mail account.
      1. Read the Terms of Use.
      2. Select I Agree.
      3. Type your Yahoo! ID and password.
        • NOTE: To scroll between the username and password fields, press the Navigation key left or right, not up or down.
      4. Select Next.
      5. Select Finish.
    • Outlook E-mail: To set up your device to receive e-mail from your Microsoft Outlook® account.
      1. Select set up your device to sync with it.
      2. Type the server address.
      3. Select Next.
      4. Type your username, password, and domain.
        • NOTE: To scroll between the fields, press the Navigation key left or right, not up or down.
      5. Select Next.
      6. Select the data you want to synchronize (Contacts, Calendar, E-mail, and Tasks).
      7. Select Finish.
        • NOTE: E-mail deleted from your Outlook e-mail account using your device is also deleted from your Inbox on the Exchange Server. To locate deleted messages, view the Deleted Items folder in Outlook on your computer.
    • Other E-mail: To set up your device to receive e-mail from other accounts, such as Comcast.
      1. Type your e-mail address and password.
        • NOTE: To scroll between the username and password fields, press the Navigation key left or right, not up or down.
      2. Select Next.
      3. Type the incoming and outgoing servers, if necessary.
      4. Select Next.
      5. Select the server type.
      6. Select Menu.
      7. Select Done.
      8. Select Finish.
