Before you call or ask a question:

I always tell my clients, "Listen to your computer." It is telling you by the sounds it makes what the problem is. If you hear a whirring sound mention the sound AND where you heard it from when calling tech support or posting the problem online. Clicking, beeping, grinding. It all means something. The problem can be more quickly solved if the tech knows about these sounds. After all, this is YOUR computer and you know how it sounds and behaves.
