My WD 52525 has a blue screen, which a friend in the commercial AV industry diagnosed as a color wheel problem (i.e. frozen in place). I am a former TV tech and am confident that I can replace the part if I can get it. In researching on Google it appears that the only way to do the repair is by replacing the entire light engine which can be obtained for less than $400. I can also obtain the service manual. Do you advise for or against this? If it is too hard I'll skip it. Thanks.
