no light on lcd

Hi,
If your Nokia C3 meet a permanent problem, you should reset your phone. There are two ways to perform a reset on the device, the hard set and soft reset.
1 how to perform hard reset on Nokia C3
To perform a hard reset on the C3, press *#7370# and press Dial. The phone will request the security code that is 12345 by default. Since the hard reset will erase all date in your phone, you should backup important data before performing a hard reset.
2 how to perform a soft reset on Nokia C3
If you want to soft reset your Nokia C3, you need to press *#7780# and then Dial. The default security code is 12345. When you do this, your phone will come back to original factory status, but you will not loose personal data. It is better to make a backup before performing any kind of reset.

Hope this helps.
Let me know if you need more information
Thanks.

Perform a Reset

Soft Reset
When you perform a soft reset, the device deletes any data that has not
been saved but saves any data that has been stored in memory. Try
performing a soft reset if the device does not respond when you tap the
display or press a button.
To perform a soft reset, use the stylus to press the reset button.

Hard Reset
NOTICE: When you perform a hard reset, you lose all the data stored on
your device.

Perform a hard reset if:
• You want to delete all the data stored on your device.
• You forget your password and need to clear it.
• Your device is experiencing severe operational problems and you have
already attempted a soft reset.
NOTICE: It is strongly recommended that you back up your data before you
perform a hard reset. See ActiveSync Help on your computer for more
information.
To perform a hard reset:
1 Press and hold the power button.
2 With the stylus, hold the reset button for about 2 seconds.
3 Follow the instructions on the screen.
