Tip & How-To about Cell Phones
*Attention* If you have forgot your pass-code to unlock your iDevice I am sorry, But this IS the only (Official Apple) way to 'Un-Lock' it and remove pass-code to gain access without hacking it.
You are going to need a computer with the latest version of iTunes on it and unfortunately this will fully erase all data on the device .
So with the device plugged into your PC, iTunes open, if it shows up in iTunes eject it, or cancel the prompt to restore a device in recovery mode.
Hold down the Power button for 3 seconds
Without releasing the power button, also hold the Home button for 10 seconds
Without releasing the home button, release the power button and keep holding the Home button for About 20 seconds.
iTunes will detect an iPhone/iPod/iPad in recovery mode, let off button and set down device and hit RESTORE in iTunes.
If you cannot get it to work, just try again, Holding Home Button for say 9 seconds instead of 10.
