Tip & How-To about Computers & Internet

For the HP dc3000

Take the unit and tie it carefully with twine. Next, attach it to the back of your car and drive like a mad man until all you can see are bits and pieces following you down the road.

manuel for a cubcadet 1525 modle how to put the belt on

There should be a diagram on the mower deck. The deck should be on the front hooks and have the rear pins engaged. Follow the diagram to install the belt. It may help to tie it in place with twine as you go. The last pulley to slip the belt over is the one on extreme left. You will need a 3/8" socket driver to slip into the square hole. Pull that back to extend the spring until there is enough slack to slide the belt over the last pulley.

My guess is that there is some kind of bind that the twine is in between the spool of twine and the knotter... resulting in the twine being continuously too tight for proper tying. Check for restrictions and then make double sure you've cleaned out ALL of the bunched up twine and twine ends... Are you using the correct twine??

Hi Roger, Chock the wheels and apply the parking brake, Jack the vehicle and place chassis stands under the vehicle and make sure they are firm and will not move. Remove the front wheels and then loosen and remove the brake calipers, tying them up and out of your way with a reasonably strong twine. Make sure that flexible pipes are in good condition and when tied, not bent at an angle which would cause damage or breakage. Remove the nuts securing the ball joints and then using the special tool release the conical shafts from the housings. If the special tool is not available, it is possible to remove the tapered joints with a heavy hammer, striking the side of the housing (the metal unit where the taper is fitted) by hammering with several blows until the joint becomes loose. Remove the shock suspension assembly by removing the fixing nuts from the top mounting (under the hood) and the lower two nuts and bolts holding the shock absorber assembly to the stub axle mounts. Disconnect the anti roll bar mounts attaching the control arm to the chassis (superstructure of the body) and then remove the inner nuts of the the control arms. Using a pin punch of the correct size and being careful not to damage the threading, punch out the bolt and then remove the control arm. You will probably need to have the bushing removed with a press and have the replacements fitted in the same way. Reassembly is opposite. Make sure all nuts and bolts are correctly tightened and in the event of castle nuts, replace the locking split pins. When fitting back the brake calipers you will need to push the pads back towards the pistons so when the assembly is completed, make sure to pump the brake pedal until the travel feels normal. When completed have someone very close wipe your brow and serve you with your favorite drink. If its alcoholic, test the vehicle the next day. Regards John

I have a hose attached to the back of the unit and the tank is still filling up, and then of course shuts off when the tank is full. we have checked the hose and the back of the unit where the hose attaches and it does not appear to be a clog. what else could it be?

Nina, the clog is not in the hose connection. It's in the inner tubing of the unit. When this happens water is diverted to the bucket. to solve this problem, follow the instructions below.

First - Turn the unit OFF & Unplug it.

Using an appropriately sized, 18" long, plastic Zip Tie, carefully insert the tip of Zip Tie into the hose connection and the tubing. Continue to push it in until you reach a bend in the tubing. You will need to gingerly work the Zip Tie past this bend, until it either bottoms out or you run out of usable Zip Tie. Then slowly pull the Zip Tie back out while rotating (twisting) it. This will breakup any clogs. As you reach the inserted end of the Zip Tie, be prepared, as some water may follow. Reconnect the hose to the unit, plug the unit in and turn the Master ON/OFF Switch to ON. Set the humidity extraction level to 35% or Maximum if you have a manually controlled unit. Allow the unit to run, while you monitor the hose end for water flow. It may take 10 to 15 minutes for the water to start flowing again.

NOTE: If you don't have a Zip Tie, you may use something similar ( i.e.a long pipe cleaner), but NO wire coat hangers
.

I hope this information has helped you to solve the problem. Thanks for choosing FixYa.

my chicken is not turning in the rotisserie and i don't have a manual

DO not use a chicken larger than 5 lbs. Tie cooking twine around the chicken to hold it together so it doesn't touch the sides. I use two or three pieces of twine - wrap it around and tie - cut off the ends of the twine close to the knot.
