Android phones sync contacts using Gmail contacts online.
You can easily import contacts in Android web interface of Gmail. The contacts
are automatically synced to the phone. Palm contacts are automatically
synchronized with the Palm Desktop software. You can export the contacts from
the Palm Desktop software and import them to your contacts from Google Android
phone in minutes.
1. Synchronize your Palm device with Palm Desktop software
for the latest updates of your contacts are stored on your computer.
2. Click the drop-down menu at the top right of the window
of the Palm Desktop and choose your username. Click the "Contacts"
3. Click "File" and select "Export".
Enter a name and choose a location for the file, such as your computer's
desktop. Set the "Type Export" to "Comma Separated Variable (.
CSV)" and select "All" as the Range. Click "Export".
4. Go to mail.google.com and log in with Google account you
use in your Android phone. Click the "Contact Us" link on the left.
5. Click "More actions" and choose
"Import." Select "Choose File and then see the CSV file you
created. Click" Import. "
6. Unlocking the phone and the Android home screen, press
the "Menu" button. Tap Settings and then "Sync and Accounts."
Tap the account name in the Google list and tap "Contacts" to a green
checkmark in the box next set. Tap "Save". The contacts will sync
between phone in just sum minutes.
