Tip & How-To about Apple iPod touch
The HP TouchSmart PC is a common computer, except it has a
touchscreen. This allows you to tap the various icons on the screen for games,
applications, and download files, and open your iTunes. Using an iPod with your
HP TouchSmart PC is like using your iPod to another computer or MacBook.
However, instead of using a mouse to navigate through your iTunes library, you
need to tap your finger, or "click" on the items you want to open and
upload to your iPod.
1. Turn on the computer end of the USB cable into USB port
of your TouchSmart. The end of the computer's USB cable is the smaller of the

iPod. Normally, when you connect your iPod to the TouchSmart PC, iTunes opens
automatically. If it does not open, tap the iTunes icon on the screen of your
desktop to open the application.
3. Tap "File" at the top toolbar of iTunes. Select
"Sync iPod" to upload music, photos and even files from your iTunes
library to your iPod.
4. Select the "Eject iPod" icon in "Device:
iPod" on the left side of the screen. This will allow you to safely remove
the USB cable from your iPod and TouchSmart.
