Tip & How-To about Apple iPod touch
IPods are very popular media player developed by Apple. They
include multimedia features that allow you to transfer songs, videos, photos
and games to play. You can also use your iPod as a storage device such as
portable hard drives such as USB flash drives. ITunes lets you quickly activate
the disk and start transferring data files to and from your device.
1. Download and install the latest version of iTunes if you
do not already installed on your computer (see Resources).
2. Connect your iPod to your computer using the USB cable
that comes with it. Open iTunes on your computer. iTunes, the iPod in the left
panel under "Devices."
3. Then click "Devices" click "iPod".
Click on the "Summary" tab at the top of the iTunes program. Select
"Enable disk use" or "Manually manage music and videos."
Select iPod and click "Eject". Quit iTunes.
4. Click the Windows "Start" menu and click
"My Computer". Windows displays the iPod disk icon. For Mac users,
use the iPod disk icon on the desktop.
5. Double-click the iPod disk icon and drag files to or from
iPod's window to copy them. Right-click the iPod disk icon and click
"Eject". Disconnect the device from your computer.
