Tip & How-To about Saws

How to find a power tool or machine instruction manual or parts

For Delta, Porter Cable, Black and Decker, Dewalt tools, go to this link, enter your exact model number, and navigate to the exploded parts diagram or instruction manual download page.

For older woodworking machine, all makes and models, go to this link, choose publication reprints, choose manufacturer, click Pub.Type heading to sort list, find your model number or something close for similar instructions, download pdf. Read through list of pub types for generic information and manuals.
For Powermatic, see here, choose your model, etc.
For Bosch, see here.
For Craftsman, try here, select manuals, enter model number, be persistent..
For Ryobi, try here or here.

Possible help with many brands and items here..

For parts and diagrams of tools, many brands, see this link.

For brands not listed or found above, go to the manufacturer's website, choose support, follow the parts link and look for publications or manuals links after navigating to the model number of your machine. Make sure the model number you use to search is exact; simple errors will cause the search to fail.
If you can't find your exact model, you may be able to use the current model or version or your tool to find a manual with pertinent instructions that will guide you in the set-up or maintenance tasks you are attempting. Some older machine manuals can be difficult to track down.

For generic help with major woodworking machinery, google "table saw tune-up", for example, and find numerous articles describing essential operations and maintenance procedures.

I hope this information allows you to resolve your issue. If you need further assistance, please post back with a comment to this thread.

DeWalt's website will have one. (DeWalt, Black and Decker, Stanley Bostitch, Porter Cable, etc are now all the same company). Go to this link and put your model number in the search box. Pick your correct model from the search results and on the right hand side of the page will be a link for the owners manual.

I have a Porter Cable Model 371 2.5" X 14" Belt Sander. I broke a belt, when I did it jammed and also broke a rubber sleeve that covers the Drive Wheel. I have yet to find this rubber sleeve in any part diagrams that I have looked at. Can you please tell me where I can find this item? Thanks Ray

Unfortunatly that sleeve is not available, you will need to purchase a whole new drive wheel. The Drive wheel is $9.66 from DeWalt Service Net. Porter Cable, Delta & DeWalt are all owned by Stanley Black & Decker, you can contact DeWalt Factory Service for all parts. 1-800-4-DeWalt You can order the parts on-line, over the phone or though a local service center. The website is www.dewaltservicenet.com Below is the parts diagram for your sander. The part number for the drive wheel is A16439

battery charger for black decker firestorm drill 14.4 volts

This should be the correct part for your drill, but since you didn't provide a model number, I can't be absolutely certain.
Follow this link: http://www.dewaltservicenet.com/Products/PartDetails.aspx?partid=104692
Have a look at this manual and see if your drill is the same.
If not, check the home page of the dewalt service center site and navigate to the correct site by inputting your model number.
I hope this helps! If so, please take a second to rate this post.
