Adding to this the Explanation is that I have most of these receivers and they all at on point or another had some kind of HDMI problem. However what i discovered is that the 5V and 15V Regulators generate so much heat under the Hdmi board that it causes the system to eventually Fail! I destroyed two Boards testing this and I have the Pictures to prove it!. on the 807 for example the Two fans inside are running most of the Time. but when the NR807 is off these Regulators are working to maintain the board and the main CPU/MPU working. now this heat builds up under the board with no Fan to cool it down.
If you have the HDMI pass Tru Enabled put your hand on top of the receiver. that also means that The main Transformer is on Not Energy Efficient at all, only a couple of units are capable to use a different source of power. Most Uses the Main Transformer. Marcelo
