How to Reset my iPod if you Forgot your Screen Lock Password

The iPod lets you store and listen to or watch the music and video files. The iPod Touch offers mobile email and Internet connectivity, and has a media player. You can use your password if you forget your iPod using the iTunes "Restore" function.

1. Connect your iPod to your computer, put one end of the cable into the USB port on your computer and the other end into the iPod's data port. The iTunes program to start or you can double-click the iTunes icon from the desktop to start the program.

2. Click the iPod icon under "devices" on the left side of the iTunes window.

3. Click "Summary" and click "Restore."

4. Click "Restore" again.

5. Click "OK" once you restore the complete message.

Use the Home button to exit the internet application. Listen to some music or browse pictures to make sure your ipod is working fine and then reopen the internet application. It should run smoothly.
