By default iTunes set to automatically sync your library to
your iPod. This is useful for a quick sync, but not to manage your music in a
more personal way. The settings can be modified to iTunes all the songs on the
iPod that you do not want at this time. Alternatively, if you want to transfer
music from your iPod to your computer, what can be done using a third-party program?
iTunes manual settings
1. Connect your iPod to your computer, open iTunes if it
does not open automatically.
2. Click the name of your iPod in the iTunes sidebar

3. Check the box next to "Manually manage music and
videos" and click Apply.
4. Add music to your iPod by selecting the songs, click and

1. Download and install a program like Copy Trans download

on your iPod, copy it to your computer.
2. Disable iTunes auto-sync. This is very important that the
library is empty and does not want their iPod data, which can prevent the
return of cleaning. Click "Edit" then "Preferences". Click
the "Devices" tab. Check the box that says "Prevent iPods,
iPhones and automatically synchronizes Cases", click "OK" to
save your settings. After that, you can close iTunes.

your iPod. The program displays a list of drives on your computer, your iPod
will be one of them, but may take some time to appear in the list. Select your
iPod in the list and the list of contents appears in the program window.
4. Select the option to export / content from iPod to PC.
Choose a folder to store the contents of entry. Since there will be many files
are moved to consider a new folder on your desktop and copy all information
from your iPod from there.
