I have a Philips tv and months ago it started with turning off by itself. We had to unplug to get it to turn back on and then to keep it on, we had to change the channels at least 12 times. It continued to get worse as we had to change more channels to keep it on so we left it on all the time. Now it will just shut off when it "feels" like it. And not even changing channels does not keep it on. What's going on? Sabrina

My TV goes in some sort of standby mode. Suddenly the TV turnes black, and a short sound comes, and I have to push the "AV" button twice to make it start again, and then the screen haves really strong colors and it's like watching TV without glases for those who need glases. This gets better by watching for 2-3 minutes, but then it goes with the same **** again.
