Won't keep running. Took the carburetor apart several times. Made sure it was clean. Unscrewed the low and high speed needle valves and cleaned inside. Membranes seemed to be intact and functioning. Reassembled and adjusted the High and Low speed needles to 1 turn CCW initially . When starting it fires but won't get up to speed and dies almost immediately.Readjusting the needles while running only seems to make things worse. Primer bulb shows gas is getting to the carburetor and into the engine. Spark plug moist but not dripping wet. Engine does not smell flooded. My guess is that the membrane that operates the needle lifter needs to be replaced but I can't visually see anything wrong with it. After one pull on full choke the engine will fire off on half choke on the next pull but dies after running for 4 seconds. It sounds like it's starved for gas but I can see gas vapor coming out of the spark plug hole as soon as I remove the spark plug. This thing got me flubbergusted and gave me a dime size blister. Any suggestions?

It starts fine. It has plenty of power for about 5 minutes then it is starving and eventually dies....

It starts fine. It has plenty of power for about 5 minutes then it is starving and eventually dies. Cannot be restarted. Have taken apart but not totally. Cleaned carburator. Replaced the gas tank because of the filter inside came out and the lines were loose. Old cap was leaking so new tank fixed that. New spark plug. It seems when it warms up it dies. model: poulan te450cxl
