WE NEED TO RECORD A NEW MESSAGE
Go to menu and work through the options, it's in there somewhere. Alternatively, check the user manual and do the same. If you don't have one, Google the make and model number and look for user manual downloads.

Can we retrieve a deleted
Hello
I am sorry but your message has been permanently deleted and it cannot be retrieved again.
If you were probably using an old fashioned answering machine that utilizes a cassette tape then you may be in luck All you need to do is remove the cassette tape from your machine, stick it in a cassette player, and you can listen to your messages.
But i still suggest you contact AT&T for assistance.

Flashing C
Flashing C means your machine is in clock mode. Try resetting the clock. This should resolve your problem. I speak from experience, because I just had the same thing happen to my machine.
