You may need to replace the fan motor but before you do check and make sure you don't have a loose wire going to the fan motor. You might be loosing power to the fan motor. Is the fan motor making noise before it stops. Chev are famous for having the bearing on the fan motor going out and the fan will clatter against the fan motor housing. If you need to change the motor just remove the wire to the motor and pull the beauty cover off then you can remove the holding screws and put your new motor in. Be sure to remove the battery cable to ensure you don't short something out during the process and burn the wiring.
A code P0304 may mean that one or more of the following has happened: Faulty spark plug or wire Faulty coil (pack) Faulty oxygen sensor(s) Faulty fuel injector Burned exhaust valve Faulty catalytic converter(s) Running out of fuel Poor compression Defective computer
If there are. no symptoms, reset code and see if it comes back
you have changed parts without knowing what the problem is
have the fault codes read first to get the area and sensors causing the problem
I t may be low fuel pressure from a bad pump, blocked filters or injectors that is the real cause of the problem
Check to see if there is a burnt mark in the rotor grounding it to the dist, Make sure the cap is not bad. Pull a wire from the cap to see if spark is going to plugs
I thing i know the issue. I had the same problem.. There is a module that you ca actually put in yourself to help bypass it. I used it about 5 years ago and mine starts every time. I found a site and he guarantees the part which u can put in yourself.. Check it out
If it is on the passenger side of the truck then you must remove the battery and you will see and opening that will allow you to depress the clip on the wiring and then you need to rotate the bulb to pull it out of the mounting. To assemble just do the reverse of this. If that doesn't work. You can remove the front grille and the mounting for the head light assembly has 4 bolts and you can dismount the assembly from the truck and change the bulb. If you do remove the grille be sure not to deal with the headlight aiming screws. The 4 screws being removed will not mess up the aiming of the head lights. Hope this helps.
check the ect switch by the thermostat outlet it looks like a temp sw. it tells the computer the temperature outside is and that determines how much fuel goes to the tbi. In addition, you want to check, the egr valve, its the big round piece on the intake behind the tbi. To check it reach inside the egr and pull up on the bellows In the center while putting your finger over the vacuum hose that is attached to it and see if the bellows stays up if not the egr is bad. Hope this helps.
Neutral switch is on the steering column. It is located under the dash and is the half round switch by the floor. when you change it do not move the shift lever until you secure the new switch.
Is the column shift lever loose or does it feel normal shifting through gears? If loose, check linkage between shift lever and transmission located under driver door side of transmission.
Is it getting fuel? Turn key to on position but do not start, listen for fuel pump to prime. It may be easier to remove gas cap. You should hear a buzzing sound for 2-3 seconds. If the pump is priming, I would check fuel pressure next. It could be a weak or failing fuel pump.
You will need to put the lifter in a pressurized cabinet or else you can try to squirt oil into the little hole in the side of the lifter it might give you enough to have the engine pump it up. Hope this helps.
Most of the home security system companies provide
monitoring services, but there are yet more which depend on a third party
monitoring facility. Be sure to ask the company whether they provide the
monitoring services and get a confirmation.
check cooling system for rapid changes in pressure after you crank the engine for 15 seconds, start with the system sealed and check the hoses for pressure then crank and see if the tighten up at all, normally there is no change in pressure for several minuets of running time, a blown head gasket will cause it to pressure up quickly
that may be your problem
check cylinders for water, remove all the plugs and crank it over watch for spray
