FixYa Service - Answered Questions & Fixed issues

Hi achintya1915, welcome to FixYa. While you can earn some money as a regular Expert by answering Marketplace Questions (see below for more info), you will have to get approved as a Premium Expert in order to access the vast majority of our paying questions. I see that you have already applied to be a Premium Expert. While you are waiting, you should review our criteria for Premium Experts- http://www.fixya.com/support/r2607184-fixya_looks_in_premium_expert. Make sure that all your recent solutions meet those criteria. As for what you are currently seeing, those are Marketplace Questions. They indicate questions where the asker has indicated their willingness to pay for a successful solution, but have not actually submitted payment. They are a good way to try out providing Premium-level support, but do not represent the bulk of the paying questions on FixYa. Please feel free to contact our Support Team directly at: http://www.fixya.com/contact

yes many "onlin jobs". money making opportunities only require you have a computer, a decent internet connection, and some sort of marketable skill (or the ability to provide valuable consumer insight to marketers). You'll be operating as a free agent and can choose when, where, and how much to participate. Also beware: because specialized skills aren't always required, you do have to be wary of scams. Before you sign up to become a virtual focus group participant, paid survey taker, mystery shopper or any online worker, keep in mind this important rule of thumb: you should never have to pay to work. also, read the fine print. fixya.com,usertesting.com,and blogger, helps for ur home based income.

Hi Jeanne,

You'd be surprised just how many people you would be helping by answering older questions as well as newer ones. Not everyone has the latest and most up to date products and a lot of people are actually looking/searching for help with older products.

In other words, your time and answers are actually helpful!

Keep it up and I hope that helps!

You can always search for information related to your question/issue, ie sewing machine tension, Bulova watch battery... Fixya will usually show multiple related questions & answers and perhaps you can find that person by reviewing the search results.

Hi Aced,

Points are not only awarded for answering questions. Writing tips, uploading manuals, recategorizing questions, and editing questions are also worth points.

Hope that helps!

Of course FIXYA has no document whatsoever indicating you've won anything. What makes you think that you won something?
Did you go an email telling you that you've won something?

I'm fairly new to this site, and all I know is I'm not getting paid. I like to help people, maybe some are trying to take advantage of people. I do know there are some sites that do charge for the help, but I haven't found that to be the case on here.
