I work for the Wal-Mart PC Care program. The PC Care program is free, it provides assistance in installing a year worth of virus protection. Anything beyond that is on a pay for fee service. It does not replace the original Dell warranty (which as pointed out) you were under. The little card board disk hold clearly states that you should save your receipt here. The receipt can be generated again at the local store. A customer can also purchase an extended service that comes info effect after the original warranty expires. It is not a bad plan, but it does pay to read and know what the plan covers. You still need to contact Dell as you are under their warranty. Pre-existing conditions are not covered by any extended service plan.

reinstall the operation system or check the hard disk to be in place ..cause it seam it opens up ok for the initial stage ..
try to see if your hard disk has a recovery partition ..and use it to go back to the factory settings ..To do that press f12 on start and on the boot screen choose the recovery partition if it has one ..If not..use a installation disk and make a clean install (format the C drive when you install .

Here's a link to the Inspiron 1525 service manual: http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/ins1525/en/SM/keyboard.htm#wp1180346

If you're having trouble opening the photos you may have to install the proper version of Adobe as follows: go to www.support.dell.com and select "I'm looking for drivers and downloads". If you don't have the proper version of Adobe you will be prompted to install it. Once installed return to above link.

Bring it to a repair shop and have them copy off the contents of your hard drive for you. It's pretty easy to do.

Is it only specific cards that you can't read on it? I am assuming you're trying from the internal card reader. If it will read 2 Gigabyte or less cards, and will NOT read cards with more storage space, it's because SDHC, the format that allows more than 2G on a SD card, is a different format, and most older card readers will not work with SDHC.

You can purchase a SDHC reader that works in the USB port from your local electronics store or Office supply store.

You may got to control panel - hardware - mouse then look for the check box that you can tick on that says "Tap off while typing" and this should fix the problem. Thanks for visiting FixYa.com!

If the monitor hookup solves the problem it means the inverter board located under the screen is intermittent, or the baclight behind the display may be the issue, and you may have a loose video cord from the screen to the motherboard plugin. But if both screens show the same symptom, it is the video graphics chip built into the motherboard.
