Hello Annette.... Here is the link to the installation sheets for all of the weiser keyless locks. There are several models so you will have to identify your lock and then take a look at the sheet for that lock to know how to change the batteries
The lock tang (the item between the two lock parts inside the door) has been turn 180 degree out of position. Take the lock off, turn tang 180 degrees, reassamble, and it should work like new.
If it is not fixed to the wall , drop it on a bed holding the opening dial and as it bounces open it . It took me a couple of goes to get it right but it works
A friend had a similar issue with his lock. After taking the back plate off I found that silver arm that locks into the door handle cam had lost a tiny c clip and come apart. One I reassembled both parts of the arm on the retaining peg using the c clip and put the white spacer ring on top everything looked right. Reassembling the gear section while keeping the round handle return spring from popping off was challenging.
You can open them faster with a rare earth puck magnet that you can putting the combination digits in.

There are also this type of attack but the Lock Picking Lawyer shows the workings. The magnet pulls the solenoid in the same way. It is a low skill attack.

Classic mistake keeping the emergency key inside the safe!
It can be opened very easily in 10 seconds with a large rare earth puck magnet in a sock. They all work the same way using an electronic magnetic solenoid operated by the internal battery. The puck magnet does it externally.

Look at the YouTube channel 'The Lock Picking Lawyer'. All his videos are short and sweet. All combination locks can be decoded with a feeler gauge or a thin piece of plastic. He will have opened this lock.
