Senco 1Y0013N FP35 1 1/4 Inch To 2 1/2 Inch 15 Gauge Finish Nailer Questions & Answers
Porter cable 15ga finish gun pin doesnt retract after firing
Porter cable uses a rubber band around the cylinder as check seal to push cylinder up. Pull cylinder and make sure that the band is place around series of holes in cylinder (about center of the cylinder ). If the band is in place then check for too much air leaking out of the nose due to worn/cracked bumper or lower bushing (washer with slot). If bumper and lower washer good, suspect debris in head vent preventing air form excaping or the shaft if the driver is bent (easy to check, driver should be easy to push back up from down position). Good luck
Senco finish nailer, drive pin doesn't retract
If you buy a reconditioned gun, ask them to hook it to a compressorer,
then put a stick through it. If it doesn't jam or feeds properly, then
it should be ok.
Clipped head nails, picture bullets in a gun, they are all round heads
and need to be stacked so they don't jam the one below as they feed.
With clipped heads, they come in sticks, its just so they don't grab
the nail behind.
Senco finish nailer, drive pin
Senco nailers are very reliable however could suffer from
several issues that would cause your problem. Here are a few things to check that may solve your problem. Bent driver, worn parts, broken check valve. Main problem with all finish nailers is bent driver blade. Easy to check, remove and examine. The driver should travel length of cylinder without jaming. Driver oring/plastic ring should fit snug into cylinder. Remove cylinder and check the oring neer the bottom of the cylinder. This is a check valve. There are small holes that should be cleaned. If oring is loose or broken just use any oring that fits snuggly. Next, check that lower bumper is not chipped or cracked and that washer under bumper is not too worn or missing. Replace parts as necessary. (

Wont shoot nail every time pin wont return all the way up
Some reasons the driver/piston assembly won't retract fully:- damage to the o-ring (LB1003) around the piston- cylinder (BA0165) is scored badly- driver (EA0167) is bent, twisted or warped- o-ring (LB1023) around bottom of cylinder (in groves & covering small holes) is stretched out or out of place.- Seal (BC0492) at bottom of cylinder & under bumper is damaged or gone
Nain plunger does not retract
Sounds like you haven't been oiling it. Or maybe oiling too much.
Some of those finish nailers don't need oil. If you've been oiling one of those, it's probably all gummed up.
Skips a nail after each shot
When this has happened to me, I found that the feeder was sticking. This is usually due to a lack of lubrication. Try placing some pneumatic oil onto the feeder area and then trigger the gun a number of times to work it in. (I usually fire the gun without nails for this.) Then load up the nails and try again. Make sure that you add oil to the air stream on a regular basis to keep this from happening again.

SENCO COIL ROOFING GUN DOESNT ADVANCE NAILS
Clean the track and piston by removing nail tray (there are a couple of allen screws)and removing the gunk from the nail tape and if you have been shooting something glued that to. Remove head assembly and thoroughly clean and oil that also. that should fix you right up I have a couple of these guns and that is typical.
If that is no the problem rebuild the gun it is worth it as they are a great air gun
Hope this helped
Nailer wont recycle
Hi,
That would be the cylinder check seal on the outside of the cylinder sleeve. That sits in the groove with little holes in it. When The driver goes down the air goes out the little holes and forms a vacuum above the driver, pulling the driver blade assembly back up. So if the cylinder seal is bad it won`t work.
Thanks,
Yooper Jeff

My Senco FramePro 602 will not shoot at angles
You can check a few things to identify the problem if your Senco FramePro 602 nail gun is not shooting at angles:
Make sure the depth adjustment is adjusted appropriately for the material you are dealing with and the nail size by checking it.
The cannon may not be able to fire at an angle if the depth adjustment is set too high.
Verify the air pressure: Ensure that the nail gun's air pressure is set properly.
For the FramePro 602, a pressure range of 70 to 120 PSI is advised.
The nail gun may stop working if the air pressure is too low.
Examine the magazine for any jammed nails that might be stopping the rifle from shooting properly. If you find any, remove them.
Make sure the magazine is free of any debris and unblock any nails that are stuck.
Verify the angle adjustment: Ensure that the nail gun's angle adjustment is correctly set for the angle you intend to utilize.
The FramePro 602 is capable of firing at 21-degree and 28-degree angles, so make sure that the angle adjustment is set to the appropriate level.
