Senco 2D0001N FinishPro2N1, 18 Gauge Brad Nailer/Stapler, Sequential Questions & Answers
My Senco SFN1 finish nailer will not shoot a nail.
Not sure about Senco but most have latch you can open to expose firing mechanism. Nail sometimes gets jammed and will not allow driver to fire or if not nail push driver ****** all the way back into gun then see if gun will fire.
How do you determine what to set the psi for door
Your compressor has an air preasure ajustment , that will allow your to set where you will be comfortable. Turn it till you get the setting for your particular job. Use a piece of scrap wood to check nail set. I hope that I have been of service. GOOD LUCK.
I have a 16g. Senco nail gun. The problem is that
This is usually because an o-ring is broken or out of place. The o-ring on the driver is split so you can get it on the head. There is an o-ring at the bottom of the cylinder that covers a bunch of small holes that does break or sometimes gets blown out of place. Look on line for a Senco rebuild Kit #YK0393 and replace all the o-rings in the gun and you'll have a brand new gun.
I have a Senco Accuset
try a contractor supply, or find a senco distributor in your area, there used to be one in my hometown of Hayward, Calif. Tey carried fasteners for all models.
Safety trigger will not push down to pull trigger
Up inside the trigger is where the safety hits, it moves in the way of the trigger to get it to fire, but it has to hit something in between, i have the same gun, only older, and I deactivated the safety so I could get in tight spots. You should be able to see what is stopping it from moving, then see if the part is bent, broke, missing, whatever. I don't recommend disabling it. But you want to get it going. Hope this helps.
