Flush problem with toto toilet
If your hooked to city water it can be cause of the high water pressure comes across and keeps flapper from seating rite. Take a empty plastic bottle, cut it in half long ways. flush toilet then place plastic bottle between fill valve and flapper, trying to devert water away from where flapper seats. good luck.
Toto Dartmouth toilet flapper/chain design flaw
Your right this is a poor design. Space was the main reason for this and functionality was sacrificed. However, you can get a replacement rod at a major plumbing store. You could rig it by attaching a stem to the valve assembly. Allow the chain or rubber piece to slide over it. It is kind of like putting a permanent finger in the path of the chain to give it a "direct" lift up. This would then force the chain to go up instead of at an angle.

Toto washlet s300 has developed slow leak from behind brass connection and plastic.
If you are able to identify the source of the leak, you may be able to fix it yourself. If the leak is coming from the brass connection, you may need to replace the connection or tighten it. If the leak is coming from the plastic, you may need to replace the plastic part or use a sealant to stop the leak. If you are unable to identify the source of the leak, it is best to contact a professional plumber to help you diagnose and repair the issue.

The stream on "Rear" is weak on my new Toto Washlet GL since I got it 1 week ago. The "Soft Rear" setting works OK, but the normal Rear wash is no stronger than the "Soft" setting.
It sounds like you may have a problem with the water pressure for the rear wash setting on your Toto Washlet. Here are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the issue:
- Make sure that the water supply hoses for your washlet are securely attached and not kinked or clogged.
- Check the water pressure at the source (e.g., the wall outlet or the valve under the sink). If the water pressure is low, that could be the cause of the weak stream.
- If the water pressure is fine, try cleaning the nozzle for the rear wash setting. Sometimes debris can accumulate in the nozzle and cause the stream to be weak.
- If none of these troubleshooting steps help, you may need to contact Toto customer service for further assistance. They should be able to provide you with additional guidance or arrange for a service technician to come and check your washlet.
