ACER 6920G Crystal Eye Webcam Problem
notebook acer Aspire 6920G <<< real name.! 2009 made, long in tooth that
NO OS told at all, it is a windows 7 only PC, so is it still w7
or did others stuff w10 on it and now fails SURE IT WILL.
and the OS and the driver and PC must match
a 3 way match or it will fail. 6902g + w7 match.
and only from ACer.com, no place else..
ok? w7 only ok? and only for this PC !
the cam must show up in device manager ! no errors. or it will be dead
and guess what 1 more hint, the cam runs off usb (inside)
so if the USB ports are dead so be the cam for the same reason
wrong drivers. and again only w7 acer driver work from acer.com
not told at al what OS came with PC new (it was w7) but ive no idea at all history of any PC, and changes to the OS
acer.com shows weak support on 2009 PC, sorry that is what i see there,
or try this.
internet connected, w7 running
click on device manager and look for errors
and update all Usb and CAM seen there.
this is the w7 microsoft PnP way, that can work. and is safe
no other ways are safe, ever. (googling will get you infected fast)

anyway ..I understood that if you want to change the zone
..you can do that from the properties...but will only allow you to do
it a few times..about 4 times I guess ...
I understood that using a

zone signed dvd's ...the rest of disks will play just fine ...

When the CPU overheats then it will shut down (i.e. thermaloverload) and won't boot up again until it has cooled down. If this is theproblem is not fixed then the CPU will eventually fail.
A faulty fan causes the problem or the fan and heat sink assembly are cloggedwith dust.
Check the CPU fan to see if it spins freely, if not replace the fan.
If the fan and heat sink is clogged with dust the remove the dust and make surethe vents are clear and dust free. Use a can of compressed air to do this.
Start up problem!!
When you boot up start pressing F8 and you should get a Windows startup page with more options. If you do select Safe Mode
When windows has loaded, goto MSConfig and select Diagnostic Startup. Ok and reboot
See if windows boots normally.
I have aspire 6935G and my cinedash media console
hi there i have just had the same problem on my 6935g and i found the way to solve it is to take the bateery off for 30 secs and when you start it back on the problem should be solved it is not the answer to the problem as it may recure but it gets your cinedash working again the site i got this solution said that this is the solution that acer give out

hey there, not sure if you can do this or not but it will clear your cmos. Boot up MS-DOS and enter the DEBUG program. Type the
following commands:
The following commands will clear CMOS:
-o 70 2e <CR>
-o 71 ff <CR>
-o 70 2f <CR>
-o 71 ff <CR>
It may be necessary to reboot the computer a couple of times to
correct any CMOS and errors.

Thanks for using FixYa. You’ll need to reset the Laptop as
per the procedure given as under---
Remove all the connections to and
from the Laptop. Now remove the battery and press and hold the power on button for
2 minutes. Release the power on button. Slip in the battery pack. Plug in the
power to the laptop and to the wall. Please do not plug in any other devices
and now try the Laptop powering it on to resolve the issue.

Hi...i'm trying to boot my
Follow the steps below,
Step 1: Shut down your PC completely.
Step 2: Turn on the Power button.
Step 3: As soon as you turn it on start hitting the F8 key on your keyboard until you get to a black screen called "Windows Advanced option". (If you don't get to that that screen but you end up reaching the blue screen than that means you have delayed in hitting the F8 key. start again from step 1.)
Step 4: As soon as you reach "Windows Advanced option" use your down arrow keys to choose an option called "Last know good configuration".
Step 5: Select that and HIT ENTER.
Step 6: your PC will boot to the windows.
