Maximum load to vq0701p 7" digital picture frame

What you call a 64 gigabyte flash memory stick, must be a 64 gigabyte memory card. You picture frame only can hold SD, XD, MS, MSPro and MMC cards. If you look carefully on your memory card it will say SDXC and your frame is not compatible with these huge memory. I know MMC, SD SDHC and SDXC all look the same, although the MMC has some more contacts on the back. MMC is from about 8 Mega byte till 512 Mega byte. The SD cards go up to and including 2 Giga byte. The SCHC cards are more than 2 Giga Byte up to and 32 Giga byte The SDXC cards are more than 32 Giga byte up to and including 2 Tera byte. Although now there are none available of the highest capacities. The cards not only differ in capacity, but also differ in working voltages and signalling voltages. You can find all specifications of SD cards on the internet, but some computer knowledge and a little knowledge of electronics would be nice to read these papers. The development of these memory cards is going so fast, because there are also speed issues, when you use these for stills or for video and so on. I'm afraid you can't use your card for more than 2 Giga byte, if your picture frame allows that. But even I can't give any guaranty. I managed to buy two 4 Giga byte SD cards recently, because I sometimes have to test older equipment. But these two are rarities. Most 2Giga byte cards in the shops already are SDHC, and perhaps will have the same problem, when you put these in your picture frame.

No memory card

There isn't one. The manufacturer doesn't know what size card(s) you want to use, so rather than saddle you with a card you might not want, they let you get your own.

How can I get the date stamp to stay on picture I download

The date and time (and a lot more) are stored with every photo in its EXIF metadata. Just about any photo viewing/editing program should be able to display it. If you want to print the date, please refer to the documentation for whatever program you're using. Depending on the program and printer, you may print the date on the image, in the margins, or on the back.

Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program, such as Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ).

I have a vistaquest vq5115. i lost the coard

As long as the cable ends match both the camera and the pc usb connection then the cable should work just fine. In fact there are universal usb cable kits available at most electronics stores. As to getting the pics from your camera to your computer... It depends on your operating system but most newer systems will read the camera as a portable media or a portable hard disk. So you would then be able to make the usb connections and then access the camera from your " My Computer" area assuming you have Windows.

Does anyone know how to transfer pictures from the

most all cameras cannot move pics from internal memory to memory card. You first have to save them to your hard drive with a usb connection. Then you can move the pics to the memory card if you have a card reader. Or... replug the camera into usb after installing the memory card. Then you can move the pics to the memory card. Note: if trying the later you have to name the pics following the same naming convention as the pics already on your memory card. otherwise, they will not show up or will replace those that already exist on the card.

Pics. wont upload to computer

if your camera has a switch for display or camera modes, then you may have to switch it to display mode to view the pics on your computer with the usb cable. When the switch is in the camera mode it will usually try to install it as a web cam and won't show any pics.

The red light in the

Hello

The problem is that the lens has become stuck in the barrel. There are some DIY solutions you could try, but the probability is that you will have to get it fixed by a professional.

Use these at own risk as it may further damage the camera.

Firstly , try connecting your ac adapter or usb cable.

Try holding the shutter button while switching on the camera.

Look at the lens , and if some of the lens 'circles' is misaligned or not concentric then try wiggling it (while holding camera lens down).

Try gently pushing or pulling the lens when it extends but this is risky as it may cause the lens barrel to slip out of its guidance system.

Another way to do this is to place the camera lens down on a hard surface and then power it up. Be sure to use a soft cloth or something similar as to not scratch your lens or casing. Let the lens push the camera up and down a few times and sometimes the little resistance provided by the camera is enough to get things going again.

Try hitting your camera near the lens on the body with the soft tissue on the palm of your hand.

Other than that , I would take the camera to a repair center for a evaluation to see if it would cost more to repair than to replace the camera.

If it is still under warranty I would suggest you take it in before trying any of these steps and remove any off-brand batteries or accessories as some stores are really fussy about warranty repairs on camera's with non-brand accessories.

You can also have a look at THIS link.

Hope the advise is useful. please do not hesitate to let me know if you need any further assistance.

Andrea

The camera is locked in

Hello

OK, if the memory card itself is locked, you might sometimes get this error code. All you need to do is to take out the memory card and switch the lever on the left side to the unlock.

6c99e31.jpg

If the error is still displayed after you did the above, you might want to try the card in another camera.

If the card works in another camera . the problem is with your card reader in your camera.

If you open you sd slot and look inside with a sharp light , you should be able to see on the left side of the slot there is a little copper or spring steel lever switch. This switch work as follows:

1. When no card is inserted / no write protection , the switch is open and thus the protection is off.
2. When locked card is inserted , the tab is depressed and tells the camera that the card is lock.

Contrary to popular belief ,the little tab on the sd card is not an electronic switch and does not physically influence the card operation itself. If you put a locked card into a camera without a sd lock switch , you would still be able to use the card normally.

It is incredible difficult to fix this switch because of space limitations in the sd card. Look into the sd slot and if you can see the switch , use a needle to pull the little tab down toward the base of the camera by about 2mm or until it works being careful not to bend it.

If this does not resolve your problem , there might be a short in the switch circuit and the camera will need to be disassembled to resolve this error. This should cost no more than $50.

Please feel free to contact me if you need further information

Kind regards
Andrea

How do you put pictures on the keychain?

Didn't the keychain come with a mini CD or mini DVD on which were drivers and instructions?
That should give you everything you need to put the photos on the keychain.
If you didn't get it, then contact the manufacturer to get them to send you what you need.

Cant put pictures on the viewer

You have to download the driver from either the VistaQuest website or from the CD that came with it when you bought the product. Then search for the file on your hard drive and try to open it. Your system may be incompatible with Digital Multicam so it may take a few attempts.

The batteries are low and i just got it yesterday

The VistaQuest brand Digital cameras are not rechargable. The battery must be replaced at least once a month. The camera you bought should have included batteries, and, if so, the batteries may have only lasted a few hours because they were inactive for quite a time.
