This could usually mean 2 things :
1) Your printer is overheating. Power off and let it rest for an hour and then try again.
2) Your motherboard needs replacement.

paper jams are often difficult in all printers. There is usually a panel on the rear of the printer that you can open. This should allow you to get to the jammed paper and simply pullet out piece by piece if necessary. it can be tedious, but, with a little you should be able to free up the unit

This sounds like a software problem. Please check to see that you have all the right software drivers installed. If so, try reinstalling them from the installation disk as the code may have been corrupted. Also try turning the unit on and off again to reboot!

Check if any paper jam inside the printer... and check the toner level as well..

just clear paper pick up roller with dry cloth or alcohol.
Remove paper tray
Look for blue rubber and clkean it

Page getting dark sounds like the drum getting old.

I have to ask this question of you, just to make sure this is not an issue. Are you using a factory new ink or toner cartridge?
Please consider the following:
If you are using a refilled (the absolute worst possible choice) or third party cartridges (2nd. Worst possible choice) that may well be your problem. Most manufacturers build logic into their products to prevent the use of “Other Equipment Manufactured” cartridges as well as re-filled cartridges.
They do this to prevent problems from contaminated inks or toner causing problems with print quality or damaging the physical printhead or photo conductors.
If you are using factory new ink or toner cartridges, then please call the manufacturer’s Technical Support for assistance with the warranty on the cartridges

Your printer is not made for A3 it only for A4 so how are you getting a larger size than an A4 I not understand?
But if you need to print different sizes you need to get an Art or a paint program on your PC that what do, I use Paint Shop Pro to do my scanning on and I can print any size from 1 inch up to an A4.
If you ever think of getting art program of such then makes sure it has tools on it to scan then you can do all sort sizes.

3. Click Printer properties.
4. Select the Ports tab.
5. Select the Enable bidirectional support checkbox and click OK.
