Franke Kitchen Spray Head Part
I have the same problem. By taking off both aerators, I can see that the rubber ring inside the spray head partially disintegrated. Little pieces of rubber even fell out. I can remove the spray head (it twists off; I used a pliers and rubber gloves) but I can't take it apart and even if I did, I don't know if I could replace the rubber ring.

Hi,
The dirt gets caught in the faucet before the spout of the valve...
The only way to clear the dirt out is to take off the supply tubes and then using an air compressor, blow air backwards through the faucet the blow the dirt back out the supply tubes...

Kitchen sink faucet will not
Hi,
IF you can get the top off of the center part and then get the spout pulled off without breaking it you may be able to get a new oring in there and some plumbers grease on it you MAY be able to save the faucet....
However till you go through all of that you will probably be better off to just replace the whole faucet
Your faucet has built up with mineral to the point where it will not turn....so you chances of getting it off are very slim....

Hello feleppa... Most faucets can be repaired. That said, if you can not figure out how to disassemble it you could consider removing the entire faucet and taking it to the hardware store. Most hardware stores are expert at repairing faucets, if the parts are still available.
That said, this faucet is 26 years old so getting parts may be a challenge. My advice to customers in this situation is to put the repair money toward a replacement, unless the faucet has sentimental value.

Thanks for choosing Fixya!
I have a single knob,
Have you remove the aerator off the end of the faucet and cleaned it. More than likely it is partially clogged with deposits. It may also have a water saver washer inside the aerator. It will be a white or black washer with a single hole in it. Try removing that to see if it helps the pressure.
Tap needs new ''O'' ring on swivelling neck
Usually there is a retaining nut at the base of the spout that unscrews. It looks like apart of the faucet. Once you unscrew the nut, you can pull out the spout exposing two washers that can be replaced. If I had a picture of the faucet, I woul know exactly what to tell you. I'm just using an explanation that are for most faucets. Good luck!
