Craftsman trimmer 25cc
Diaphrams can be tricky sometimes...seating can be irritating. If carb disassembled and cleaned out...might have to check adjustments. Make sure screw didn't get loose. I had one do that before when governor broke.

Why does my craftsman 2-cycle model 316.791860. Gas trimmer die?
Those little carbs clog very easily and what you experience is a common symptom. Go to any bog box home store and in the mower area pick up a can of small engine carb cleaner.
Remove the carb, take it apart as far as you comfortably can and soak all pieces in a can/jar of CLEAN gasoline for 10 -15 mins. Agitate to get the gas moving.
Remove the carb, and drip clean then use the carb cleaner to blow out every port you can see. reassemble and install the carb, it should work fine.
Before storing for the winter drain all gas from the tank and start it allowing the machine to run till it stalls out due to no gas. You should be fine for next season that way.

Stihl chain saw diagram primer bulb
need new carb... Primer plate is bad. They will run without it working. Your idle problem is separate from this issue. Fresh fuel/oil mix might help. Some Stihl carbs we just replace because they are cheaper than trying to rebuild...

How do you change a craftsman 32cc weedwacker gas
Hi davemac918...
I used a long pair of tweesers to grab the filter, but you can also grab it with a piece of wire with a hook bent on the end of it large enough to fit the tubing the filter is inserted into.
Hook the filter tubing, and pull the filter to the top of the tank and manuver it out of the tank.
Please take time to rate me

I had purchased the Craftsman
The fuel lines you're getting in the kit are the proper ones. The only problem these fuel lines have is dealing with gas that has ethanol in it. The ethanol degrades the fuel lines, primer bulb and some seals in the carburator making them very soft (mush) and eventually fall apart. Most outdoor power equipment fuel systems are not made to deal with fuel with ethanol additives. Sorry but if you can't find gas without ethanol added in your area, you'll have to keep some extre fuel line around.

Put in new carb kit, starts but dies after a few seconds
If you removed the fuel lines from the primer bulb you may have reversed the lines. On two stroke engines the primer pulls gas through the carb it does not push gas into the carb. On the back of the primer bulb there are two hose barbs, one says in (in very small letters) this side goes to the carburetor and the other goes to your gas tank (it is a return line) This line is about a third to a half way up the side of your gas tank, not at the bottom where the fuel line is.
