Troy Bilt Backpack Blower, 25cc, 160 Mph, 500 Cfm, Model No. Tb25bp Questions & Answers
Carburator
I would dump the old gas and put new gas in and see if it will start then. If not you can remove the carb and if you are careful disassemble it without damaging the gaskets spray it with carb cleaner and reassemble it and put it back on. You can also rebuild the carb if the second option doesn't work. Hope this helps.

Runs for about 15 seconds dies and wont start for
Believe it or not, the input and output gas lines were reversed by the factory and it worked just fine for about 5 years.
Then the shorter hose got a crack and I couldn't get it running well at high speed and after a few minutes died altogether.
Check to see that the long hose is attached to the larger connector,
That is, there are two different sized connectors for the hoses on the carb.
The wider one has barbs on it while the skinnier one is a straight pipe with no barbs.
The wider one with the barbs should have the longer hose attached to it.
The skinnier one should have the short hose attached to it.
While you're at it, you might as well replace the hoses.
Take the hose with you to the store to get the right one.
Make sure the long hose goes well down into the gas tank (mine was too short...).
This made an AMAZING difference on my blower.

Blower making noise after starting unit
Hi Harrizola, The problem might be that there is some debris in the fan compartment, some of the fasteners might have come loose or broken causing the shroud to touch the fan blades and need tightening. Something else could be a bearing going bad on the fan shaft. You will have to take the cover off and take a look at what is causing this. I don't really think it is something serious. Hope this helps out a bit. All the best and good luck.

I did not empty my Blower last year, and now it
Frequently I would recommend to jsut replace the carburetor. Its easy to do and will solve this issue. However, your carb is discontinued. I did find one available online for about $67 plus shipping, but you can clean and replace the diaphragms for a lot less. Remove the carb and take it with you to the local repair shop. They can either sell you the rebuild kit (probably about $15) or may even off to clean and rebuild it for you (about $40). If you choose to fix it yourself, take special note to lay each gasket out in order as you remove them. Clean the carb body well. Remove the adjustment screws and blow carb cleaner through each of them. Reset them by turning each screw all the way in (gently) and then turn counter clockwise 1.25 turns. Reinstall and put in fresh fuel mix. Properly discard the old fuel.
Good luck!

I need the ignition coil
The gap is set about .010-.014" The closer you can get it, the better it normally is...just don't set it so close that it is almost rubbing.
