before sending it for repair try to DIY first..I'll show you how.

here's the procedure..
1. open the top cover by removing the screws.
2. carefully unscrew the PC board flip it to the solder side.
3. use a soldering iron and resolder first the components specially the power output transistor(mounted with heat sink)
4. remove clean the dust accumulation.
5.check the fuses.if the fuse is hardly burned out meaning the glass is blackened by fire and the glass breaks this means that the power transistor is shorted and needs to be replace...if the fuse is breaks just like normal just replace the fuse and the system will work just fine...

If your Sunfire Receiver has no sound from one or more speakers, it is often caused by a connection issue. There are several ways on how to correct this problem, either you check if speaker cables may have undone or recheck the calibration procedure. Here are additional troubleshooting that you may use, please follow the steps below.

1. Speaker cables may have come undone. Turn off the system and check the cables, and tighten the binding posts.

2. An audio cable may have an internal break.

3. The volume level is low for the channels concerned. Recheck the calibration procedure. Please click the link below for the manual and see page 40.

4. The channel has not been turned on in the Speaker size menu. Please see page 38.

5. The correct sound mode is not selected. ( Some DVD discs are stereo only ).

6. Note. In the source direct mode, only the front left and right speakers are engaged. They must also be set to large.

If this does not work, please try the reset procedure.

Note: the receiver will be reset to the factory defaults, and will clear all memory. All your stored OSD settings and Tuner preset will be erased.

1. Press the power button to turn off the unit. You may also turn it off from the wall for a moment.

2. Press and continue to hold down the front panel Power button and Tone DOWN button at the same time.

3. The Receiver will power on and cycle through the display. Keep holding the buttons down until " Resetting to Factory Defaults " appears in the front panel display.

4. When the receiver has been reset, it will shut off.

5. Turn the receiver back on and it will go to the default screen. It has now been reset.

5. If the receiver has to be reset regularly, you should invest in a good quality AC line conditioner.

It sounds like you are describing an earth loop problem. I won't go into detail in this post, but try an isolation test first. disconnect everything from the reciever except the sub and try connecting say a BATTERY powered mp3 player or cd player to minimise connections to the electrical mains earth. you could also isolate things by taking your sub to a friend's house and trying it on their system.
If it is an earth loop use a process of elimination to find out which two pieces of equipment causes the earth loop. then apply filtering.
you can buy earth loop isolation transformers for about AU$26 and I've used one on my sub myself. Theyhave RCA (phono)plugs on each end and they connect inline with the signal cable to the sub amp.

as for the thumping sound it might be the speaker protection circuitry cutting off the amp to protect the subwoofer speaker from damaged. This might be triggered if the earth loop sound is causing the sub amp to overload and clip.

Failing this there might be a dried out overheated electro capacitor in the amp circuit causing the hum. Hav a chat to your local electronics person, who should be able to spot it!

They charge $180 but they cost them $20 to buy from China. Package them up and send them tracked and ask them to replace the batteries. How long is the warranty on AfterShokz? Are you using the charging cables that came with it? That is a type C. Are you securely attaching the charging cable? A loose connection would keep the battery from charging. If you had a low battery, you would see a red light. That you have no light at all suggests there is no charge left in the battery. I'm not sure the reset will work with no charge which is why you ought to check the cables first. But turn it off and then hold down the Multifunction button for 10 seconds to reset it. Then turn it back on and see what happens. If you can, test the charging cable on aother device. If you have another type C charging cable, try it, just to eliminate a bad cable. If these suggestions don't work, you may try the manufacturer's customer support.
