This might be due to variety of reasons but i m giving u the benefit of doubt that u r not installing applications without checking their compatibility...... so just before installing them just check the devices with which they are compatible or just check that they work with 3rd edition Series 40 devices....

Where you connect your charger there is a loose connection there,what i can tell you for your phone to stay alive is just buy an universal charger it is not expensive,you put your battery in then after charging replace it in your phone and the problem is solve .
