Need a new keyboard.

What history are you talking about. Are you talking about web browser history then in chrome simply press ctrl+h and history comes.Click on clear browsing history and it's done. In firefox press Ctrl+h and history will be shown on left hand side and right click on which day history you want to delete and option will come simply click delete and it's done. If you are asking for any-other history please add comment.

Yes but please make sure you know what kind of RAM you need. (ie. DDR1, or DDR2)
Almost all laptops have atleast two RAM ports located on the back. I would advise contacting a licensed retailer to match up the RAM you need and give you a quote. Most laptop DDR2 1Gb of RAM prices around 40$.

sounds like component board/switch failure .If your eeepc is less that 2 years old Asus will collect and repair it for you free of charge.
Also could be "pirate" or non genuine software--its a possibility

Get e-set emergency disk or download it from any computer and boot with it, it will clean your computer, then you can start without any problem.

The best way you will probably find that type of replacement part is through ASUS directly. I would suggest giving their support department a call at 510-739-3777 (09:00-18:00 Mon.~Fri.)
They should be able to provide you with part numbers and costs for the parts you need.

Is it Linux or windows OS? eithyer way Asus have a good customer support and if the files on their server are indeed corrupt they will want to know and be even more grateful to you for your effort

Look for a program called Sound Booster or one called DFX. DFX is my favorite because it not only boosts the volume, but lets you add other effects to enhance you sound as well. There is a free version. but to get all the effects you have to upgrade to the paid. If audio is important to you, check it out.

Try going into sound select and test reinstall driver off Asus website..if you installed new windows or update drivers may not work right...see if you can roll back driver in device manager ..if not lookup your laptop model and reinstall...
