Toshiba M300 screen turns white blank.

White screen means that your lamp (back light) is working absolutely fine, but you could have a loose connection for the data ribbon cable, which sends the images to the monitor.
Carefully open laptop to reach its lcd, there must be ribbon cable which looks like this: mrc-0069.gif
It is very sensitive so be very careful with that, very gently remove this from the chip and reconnect it.
Hope this helps, Please feel free to ask me any further.

Gateway laptop pad dont work any more with out a mouse connected

Okay, the drivers might have failed. Try going to device manager by clicking on start at bottom left (assuming you're not in win8) Then right click on "My Computer" then click on "properties" then click on "Device Manager". under "Mice and other pointing devices" is there an icon with a yellow triangle and an exclamtion mark? if so right click and choose "update driver software"

I cannot connect my external

Install the external hard drive into an USB hard drive adapter case. You can then connect this into the Toshiba's USB port. The Toshiba will see this as an external storage device.

Toshiba Satellite M300 won't detect power when

If there is no problem with the battery(does it hold a full charge?) or power cabling (unnatural bunching inside the plastic sheath, frayed wires etc), then the power adapter is not providing enough current to run and charge your laptop battery at the same time. This would suggest a hardware issue with your power adapter, consider replacing it.

Hi I bought a Toshiba Satellite M300 PSMD4L-01W004

the connector is the most obvious place to start,During the 90's this really was the achillies heel for most laptop manufacturer, this was probably in the top 5 complaint at repair shacks.
technology has made things somewhat better but some models still have faults in this area, that and the fact when dropped this the hinge area come under considerable stress/fractures

My laptop won't charge

What do u mean by "adjust the cord" ? If u have to adjust by twisting the jack in the power input port then it is neither the fault of the cord nor the of the battery but may be the fault of the power input port.
Go to Toshiba service center and they will solv the prob.

Toshiba M300, does not want to start up

Hi, "shut down the computer; restart the computer, next "when the "message: unable to start computer, select from the different "options, 1. Restart to ("Repair"), once the computer complete the "repair" if it do not start, (choose to repair using "System Restore"), be careful, and very patient because the processes can take a "long time!" Next, if still the problem cannot start the "Windows Programs," then try to start in "Normal Mode." Next try starting the computer in "Safe Mode, all the time for each application following the instruction to the "exact word." (Scan the DiskDrive) if given the "Option?," this will also try to find a way to fix the problem. "Now this is very "Important," if you do not have very important "Files, Personal Data, or just important "stuff" that you have in the computer, meaning "NOTHING TO LOSE," then find the "Option to Restore the Computer to Factory Settings; "Out of Box!, as when you first brought the Computer." Once again make sure you have a lot of time to do this, because its going to take a long time, but I tell you its worth it. I hope for the best! "If you feel this solution was of help, rating it is appreciated, thanks."
